Mr. Roy graduated from De Vry Institue of Technology as an Electronics Engineering Technologist in 1975.

After graduation Armand worked for a telecommunications manufacturing company where he had various positions such as Product/Process./Equipment Technical Support, Project and Systems Engineer, Field Installation Engineer, and Test Engineer.

In April 2009, Armand became an associate with D.D.D.G. Engineering Services as a technologist.


Electronic Manufacturing

Armand provided shop floor manufacturing support for a number of system and circuit board level build products. This included machine and process set-up, component preparation and final assembly. He also developed and implemented equipment verification protocols and maintained the equipment maintenance procedures. In addition, Mr. Roy was actively involved with the customer product engineers discussing all issues relating to the end product build needs such as BOMs, ECNs and quality investigations.


Armand used AutoCad extensively in the preparation of documents for production process flow, production manufacturing instructions, electrical, HVAC and P&ID documentation and floor plans of large production area moves.

Central Office Systems

He engineered initial trial builds of newly developed product and designed telephone company central office systems. Armand also interfaced with the customer regarding requirements and created manufacturing's specifications. Another significant task was to provide installation support for completed telephone systems which included installing and testing telephone central office systems at numerous locations across the country.

Drawing Updates

Armand updated AutoCad drawings for an industrial mineral production company. This consisted of electrical schematics, P&IDs and fire safety plans.

Lighting Design

Calculate lighting intensities, prepared lighting drawings, fixture specifications and schedules, exit and emergency lights.

Fire Alarm

The intent of this project was to design the layout of the fire alarm system in a new construction of a 10 storey residence inn hotel. The project involved review current fire codes and owner?s guidelines, layout fire alarm system taking into account handicap and hearing impaired code requirements, smoke, heat & CO detectors, horn/strobe alarms, alarm speakers and fire handsets.


Prepare electrical layout drawings and single line drawings to show panels, transformers, switchgear, receptacles, equipment power, service entrance and power distribution.
